After four years and a half of development, the Dillo project is still
in need of fundings in order to achieve its goals. Through the course
of two years, this funding initiative
has only raised a one time grant from
LinuxFund.
Please read the following
presentation and consider contributing to the Dillo project.

Project presentation
Dillo project is a Free-SW project composed of voluntary developers
from several parts of the world. It was founded in late 1999 and
until now has accomplished 31 code releases. The main working
group
(maintainer, core developers and steady developers) is mainly in
Europe and South America.
Currently the code base is very solid, documented, and clean; it's
still beta (but quite stable), and is being used in more than 50 countries!
Advantages
Even in its current unfinished state, dillo shows
very attractive advantages on these areas:
Security
Efficiency
Compatibility
A good way to quickly get a first impression of current capabilities
is to browse the
screenshots
page, but the best one is to
download,
compile, and give Dillo a try on any GNU/Linux machine
(or other platform in the compatibility list).
